SANTA CLARA, CA -- MontaVista Software announced the closing of a new $21 million round of funding for working capital and general corporate requirements. The company develops and sells three Linux-based products: Mobilinux for mobile devices, Carrier Grade for telecom infrastructure and Professional for a wide range of devices. Leading the round was Siemens Venture Capital, followed by Alloy Ventures and U.S. Venture Partners as additional investors.
